Stories of my Youth – Volume 10 (You are my Sunshine)
This painting was painted to (and danced to and sung to) the song by the same name, recorded by Johnny Cash. I loved this song growing up and I remember my grandfather singing it to me when I was very young. Although no hint of grey sky’s in this one, it depicts the sun and everything golden about it.

Love and Harmony
A beautiful soft piece that emulates both love and harmony. These piece was one of the foundation pieces of the series “Stories of my youth”
As the poem by William Blake says:
Love and harmony combine,
And round our souls entwine
While thy branches mix with mine,
And our roots together join.
